The following tasks are assigned to the Regional Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and Mediterranean Fisheries:
- planning and coordination of interventions in the agricultural, zootechnical, agribusiness, rural and forestry sectors;
- structural and infrastructural interventions in agriculture;
- enhancement of the agri-food sector;
- industrial processing of agricultural products;
- hunting;
- trazzeral state property;
- civic uses;
- supervision of sector bodies;
- fishing;
- forest domain.
